Job Type: Contract – Part Time

Job Purpose
To take part in tasting sessions to identify key differences and similarities between products.
Duties
-Successful candidates will become part of a friendly team who take part in tasting and discussion sessions to identify, describe and quantify differences in food products.
-As a taste panellist you will be testing existing and new products across our Sweet and Savoury Brands. Including noodles, gravy, stock, custard, rice pudding, cakes, Indian sauces, Chinese sauces, Italian sauces and soup.
Working Hours
Candidates must be committed to working 9.15am-12.15pm Tuesday to Friday and will get the majority of Nottingham School Holidays off including half terms and end of terms. The panel is generally shut down for all of August.
Skills/Behaviours
-Good communicator and keen to take part in group discussions.
-A strong team player.
-Broad general knowledge of food.
-General computer skills.
-Willingness to try all products and open to new flavours and textures.
-Keen to learn new things.
-Open to take on other opinions
