Here at XPO, we are looking for a Management Accountant to join our B&Q site in Swindon. You’ll play a key role within our finance function, partnering with the operations team and managing the budgets and P&L for the site. This is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Weekly costings, monthly accounts, forecasting, budgets, KPIs and balance sheet reconciliations along with weekly and monthly customer reporting requirements
• Provide variance analysis with adequate commentary to support operational management in the interpretation of results
• Balance sheet reconciliations along with weekly and monthly customer reporting requirements
• Monthly and weekly KPI reporting on cost vs budget

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Proven experience in a finance management role, within logistics, and ideally, on an open book contract
• Exposure to building strong business relationships with both internal and external customers
• Ideally, fully CIMA/ ACCA qualified
