Position: Live & Studio Sound Engineering Lecturer
Location: Access Creative College Bristol, BS1 2LZ
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 9 hours per week
Salary: Pro-rata to £19,500 - £23,800 per annum (subject to experience and qualifications)

About the role:

Working with the centre team and Pathway Manager for Music, you will take responsibility for the development and delivery of our provision, from coordinating resources and managing student activities to developing industry links and course marketing, working at the core of the student experience. You will work with experienced, passionate tutors as well as within a support service provided by our Central Team. The units which you will be teaching are: Sound Reinforcement, Live Sound Recording, Dynamic Processors, EQ & Filters.

About you:

- Industry experience or a degree in a relevant subject
- Experience of working in the music or theatre industry
- Current and relevant industry/sector knowledge
- Experience with practices used in the industry
- Understanding of associated H&S requirements

Industry-specific experience, skills and knowledge required:

- Experience of all aspects of digital and analogue sound recording as well as live sound engineering
- Experience of music or theatre events management
- Experience of processors & effects for live sound
- Experience of monitor mixing for live sound
- System design (desirable)
