The Role
Are you seeking a Data Analyst role? Here at our Matchworks office in Liverpool, we are seeking a talented Analyst to join our Fleet and Plant division. You will effectively analyse complex data and information using the relevant tools available - SFN, Minitab and Lean Six Sigma methodology to define, measure, analyse, improve and control performance. And you will be able to communicate effectively in writing and orally, having the ability to translate complex information.
What will this role involve?
The Data Analyst is responsible for providing relevant data, conducting detailed analysis to monitor and improve performance.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with local data owners to ensure that all systems support data capture and reporting requirements
- Ensuring the timely submission of complete and accurate data in the prescribed format
- Validating data and populate performance reporting systems at the prescribed frequency
- Producing daily / weekly/ monthly / periodic reports showing performance against targets
- Helping to design and implement appropriate KPI's for each business unit / contract / function
- Analysing KPI data to identify issues. Trends and improvement opportunities
- Assisting in the development and production of web-based report
- Assisting and in translating performance improvement opportunities into coherent, prioritised business improvement strategy
- Benchmarking performance data across similar contracts / industries
- Management of Power BI issues, modifications, liaison with users and Business MI
What are we looking for?
As Data Analyst you will have:
- Relevant degree in Analytical, Mathematical or Statistics (or similar)
- Previous experience of management of systems or databases
- Highly analytical with proven data analysis and reporting skills
- A passion for working with data and finding data insights: highly experienced in data, analytics, metrics and statistics.
- Ability to manage own time and prioritise and effectively work to deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Highly developed communication skills
