New College Swindon have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join their growing team in Swindon. Job Title: Senior Administrator – Maths, English & Foreign Languages Location: Swindon, Wiltshire Salary: £10,984 per annum Job Type: Part Time Start Date: ASAP We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to coordinate and provide administration support for all our Maths and English provision up to Level 2. This role will also be working with the Modern Foreign Languages team to provide administration support.  Senior Administrator – Key Responsibilities: English and Mathematics Coordination  - Work with CIS, Maths and English teams to ensure compliance with the government strategy to deliver Mathematics and English to all learners who have not yet achieved a C/4 or above at GCSE Level.  - Provide robust tracking to ensure each learner is offered the appropriate level and delivery mode for their needs and to ensure successful outcomes.  - Administer, supervise and feedback on various diagnostic tests for learners throughout the year.  - Work with staff across the college to identify and support learners who are not attending or completing the work in line with college ABC standards and ultimately implement the appropriate sanctions.  - Work closely with the CIS team to ensure all learner records reflect the correct Maths and English timetable, pool and level.  - Prepare reports for the Faculty Manager, Director of Curriculum and other Senior Managers who may request data.  - Contribute to the annual quality cycle supporting lecturers to complete the PAR and to ensure that checkpoints, exam timetables and other quality processes do not clash and give learners every opportunity to succeed  Modern Foreign Languages - Liaise with the Marketing Team over part time brochure entries and take enquiries from prospective MFL evening class students. - Assist in the timetabling and rooming of evening class students and support the administration and organisation required at the start of each term. - Support the preparation of course costs and part-time contracts for language staff. - Administer oral and listening exams. - Assist with timetabling for language assistants.  - It is essential that you hold a good general education to GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English, Maths and ICT.  Business and Administration qualification at Level 3 would be beneficial.   Senior Administrator – About the College: New College are a very successful and expanding Further Education College that puts the interests of our students at the heart of everything we do and it is our excellent staff that have enabled us to achieve and maintain this.
