Kare Plus are currently seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to work within nursing homes and residential care homes throughout Loughborough and the surrounding areas, on a flexible, agency basis. Regular full time and part time hours are available, including nights and weekends. Long term bookings are also available.

We require motivated, reliable, experienced and attentive Health Care Assistants to provide care to reputed care homes across Melton Mowbray.

Responsibilities & duties

• As a healthcare assistant (HCA), you'll work under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional, usually a nurse.
• Work within a team in a care home environment for the elderly.
• Support residents with all daily activities in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Assist in maintaining care records that reflect current needs and preferences for each resident.
• Ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained by supporting/assisting Elders with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing and all other aspects of daily living.
• Assisting Elders who have limited mobility, or physical/learning difficulties, making the best use of mobility aids and personal equipment provided.
• Work in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
