A business coaching company based in London are currently seeking a Telemarketer / Appointment Setter to join the team on a self-employed part-time basis circa 10 hours per week.

In this role you will be an important part of a small successful team who are focused on delivering world class business coaching to businesses in and around London.

A genuine interest in business and an enthusiasm for learning are required for this role. You should have an excellent telephone manner, and the ability to support / follow up on marketing activities, with the view to setting appointments, leading to an initial introduction call. Some skills in using technology and working in a process driven way are also ideal.

The role will suit someone with previous experience in telemarketing, who wants to work from home, and is perhaps seeking professional work that fits around other life commitments.  You can be based anywhere in the UK, although London area or South East would be preferable.

What you will be doing:

  • You will represent the company and call prospective clients on the telephone following online and physically mailed marketing activities.
  • Your main goal will be to generate appointments between the business owner and prospective clients through telesales activities. The calls that you will make are part of an ongoing structured marketing campaign. This means you will be contacting business owners who are already being communicated to (and so not cold calling)
  • Training will be given as well as all supporting scripts, documents and process flows with full support to set the right candidate up for success.
  • Additional tasks may include creating and maintaining a database of prospects and clients, further communications with clients (usually via letters and cards), and basic administrative tasks as required in the management of these activities.
  • You will have the ability, confidence, and attitude to get things done quickly and well, using your own initiative

Your key skills:

  • A proven B2B telephone sales track record
  • Experience with a fast-paced working environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive engaging telephone manner
  • The skills and drive to close sales appointments on the phone
  • Be capable of handling objections and thinking outside the box
  • The ability to build client relationships from a standing start
  • A history of delivering winning results
  • You will enjoy the chance to work independently without supervision
  • You will ideally be based in the London area if possible so you can meet with the business owner to provide support.  However, for the right candidate, you can be based anywhere in the UK.

What you can expect:

  • You will be a part of the world's largest and most successful business coaching organisation
  • The basic salary for this role will initially be £10 per hour. You will also receive significant bonus payments if the leads you generate become paying one-to-one clients which will depend on the type of package taken by the client and will range from £250 to £750 per client generated,  £19,500 basic per annum (full time equivalent) plus realistic OTE Year 1 £6k.
  • You will benefit by having access to a trained professionals who will give as much assistance as you require through our central UK offices. We will do everything possible to ensure you achieve commission bonus payments in addition to your base salary through a win-win approach.
  • This is a home-based role. The hours are flexible within reason and must be between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Friday, ideally 1-2 hours per day.
  • Initially you will receive full training in the suggested calling scripts and encouraged to vary these so that you have the freedom to deliver in your own unique style.
  • You will receive continuous support in your role from the business owner, from other senior telesales executives, via a weekly webinar. Communication for the webinars can be over Skype or Zoom or similar.
  • Calls can be made using a company VOIP telephone system which can be installed on your own mobile phone or tablet device and made through a normal internet connection.
