Drama Graduate - Doncaster

A large and vibrant secondary school in Doncaster are currently looking to recruit a Drama graduate on a full-time temporary basis to join their support team ASAP as a lesson cover supervisor!

The secondary school are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Drama graduate who is considering a career in teaching/education to cover lesson in the performing arts department and across other departments in the absence of class teachers. The nature of absences include; short term teacher sickness, training days and time for planning and preparation.

The successful Drama graduate fulfilling the role of lesson cover supervisor will be:

Supporting a range of departments across the school with teacher absences
Delivering pre set to a class of pupils and successfully engaging them with this to ensure pupils remain on task
Taking the register at the start of a lesson
Managing classroom behaviour when necessary
The school will brief you on your timetable for the day
Fantastic opportunity for a drama graduates who is considering a PGCE / teacher training!
You will earn GBP280 - GBP300 per week!The ideal candidate will:

Hold a degree in drama / performing arts
Be a confident and enthusiastic individual who works well with young people
Have previous experience working with young people
Have availability Monday to Friday 9am-3pm (part-time opportunity also available!)
The secondary school is located very central to Doncaster City Centre, making it very accessible by both car and local public transport.
