Our aim is to support people in achieving their full potential. We are currently going through a large period of growth and have a part time vacancy for a Maintenance Worker.

Position: Maintenance Worker
Location: Manchester, The Limes
Hours: 16 hours per week
Salary: £7,569 pro rata per annum (FTE £17,740)

About the Role:

The Maintenance Worker will undertake a wide range of duties and responsibilities connected with the fabric and grounds of the scheme, principally low level maintenance duties, decorating, repairs, gardening and cleaning.

Additionally you will ensure that the exterior area of the building is maintained to the required specification including the long term management of planting, lawned areas and paths etc, and that the property is maintained to a high standard and kept in good repair.

You will also be the main contact person for contractors or for maintenance callouts to the scheme and ensure that the scheme complies with all aspects of health and safety, including carrying out routine fire testing.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have experience of carrying out low level maintenance duties.

Possessing effective communication skills to communicate with tenants, staff and other professionals.

Ideally you will have qualifications relating to COSHH, Health & Safety and or horticulture.

A Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Certificate will be required for this role.
