SWIMMING COMPLEX SUPERVISOR
NETTLETON, LINCOLNSHIRE
40 hour week (weekend working during season)
We are seeking a suitably qualified Swimming Pool Supervisor (NPLQ) to work at one of the area's most prestigious, privately owned, luxury holiday parks in the heart of Lincolnshire. The Complex Supervisor will report to the Holiday Park Manager and will have responsibility for part-time swimming pool assistants. As well as taking responsibility for ensuring the safety of all those enjoying the facilities of the pool, the Pool Supervisor will also oversee the running of the leisure complex on the site. This includes heated pool, sauna, solarium and fitness suite. If you are a recently qualified lifeguard looking for a great opportunity to kick start your career this may well be the job for you. The company, who own several parks locally, take a great pride in their parks and the personnel working there and provide full training to ensure the health and safety of all their guests. Whilst being required to work weekends during the season (March - November) you will be compensated with two days off during the week.
Key responsibilities - Swimming Complex Supervisor:
* Oversee the running of the leisure complex
* Ensure equipment is maintained to correct standards
* Ensure all pool and gym Code of Practice is adhered to
* Keep up to date with pool and gym legislation (health & safety)
* Ensure the complex remains clean at all times
* Maintain filtration system
* Ensure chemicals are balances in pool (acid and chlorine)
* Maintain accurate records of pool users and ensure that passes are regularly updated
* Enforce correct behaviour is upheld in both the pool and gym areas
* Ensure age restrictions are adhered to in all leisure activities
* Use and maintain PPE where necessary
* Take payments and cash up till on a daily basis
* Ensure the fridge is filled with soft drinks and snacks and maintain accurate stock records
* Ensure correct protocol is used with any incidents in the complex
Personal specification - Swimming Complex Supervisor:
* Recognised National Pool Lifeguard Certificate essential
* Emergency first aid at work, level 3, preferred
* Previous experience working as a lifeguard would be advantageous
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good communication skills, verbal and written
* A good team player
* Ability to enforce Company Health and Safety Policy in line with recognised leisure centre legislation
* Ability to deal with the public in a friendly but firm manner when required
