Our client specialises in the delivery of advanced medical nutrition for patients and works in close partnership with customers to ensure they provide the highest calibre care to often vulnerable patient groups. You will support patients requiring enteral nutrition, assisting their transition from secondary care to primary care & helping to prevent re-admission. You will work closely with the Hospital Dietician Team and provide pre-discharge support for them and their carers as well as training in their home on nutrition pumps, feeds and PEG site management. Full training, practical assessment and clinical support are provided to you in the role. You will also run training sessions for HCPs in Hospitals and The Community on enteral nutrition. This is a great opportunity for a Registered Sick Children’s Nurse (RSCN) with PEG experience from working as a Community Nurse, Agency Nurse, District Nurse, Staff Nurse or a Nurse with a background in Oncology, Neurology, Stroke, Palliative Care, Nutrition, Nursing Home or Gastroenterology looking to specialise or further their nursing career.
