We are looking for a talented technical business analyst with solid experience to join our team and build out the next generation of our platform. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate and you will get a chance to work with a large global team who are using the latest technologies like Solace, Spark, Docker, Kubernetes to deliver highly scalable and robust systems, responsible for meeting Macquarie Group's needs today and well into the future.

You will be working with a group of multi-talented and diverse teams across multi-geographical locations in a fast-paced, challenging environment. To succeed in this role you need to be a self-motivated individual, possess excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of our stakeholders, exceptional problem solving skills and intellectual curiosity.   You should have a resilient character and relish opportunities to stretch yourself.

  • Experience of front office environment + front office interaction/ability to stand strong in that environment and lead engagements
  • Experience of Derivatives, Futures or OTC trading business, highly desirable
  • Ideally had been involved in major strategic programmes, dealing with technical impacts to internal processes/flows and large scale change management programmes
  • Technically strong but able to converse with range of audience including internal (business stakeholders & delivery team), external (vendors) and all levels of seniority
  • Experience of working in a team and as an individual contributor, owning and managing a significant part of a project deliverable
  • Able to demonstrate best practices from both a business analysis and technology delivery perspective
  • Ideally come from a developer/engineering background, so can lead technical discussions/ solutions, whilst also able to communicate with non-technical staff
