As a Lead Data Engineer in Data Services, you will be working on a global initiative to take our data platforms and practice to the next level.

Using the latest technologies and techniques, you will be developing analytic and operational reporting solutions as part of an agile team for our trading businesses. The platform is one year old and includes modern technologies such as Spark, Presto and Kubernetes all hosted on AWS. Many business analytics challenges as being addressed and there is plenty to come. This is an opportunity to contribute to the continuing evolution of the platform, such as cloud native warehousing and data streaming.

We are looking for an experienced lead Scala data engineer well versed in building batch and streaming solutions. You will be well versed in TDD and CI/CD and happy to lead data engineering initiatives in a team of 20. Senior experience in Spark, AVRO and building data pipelines is a must. Containerization/Kubernetes experience is highly desirable, as is experience in application monitoring solutions such as Grafana/Prometheus.
