How does playing a key role in helping to shape the culture of Affinity Water sound to you? What if you could help us to deliver clean, safe drinking water to all our 3.6 million customers every single day?

We have a new HR Team, a new purpose, new principles and a fresh sense of direction. Now we are looking for an HR Assistant to be a key part of the team to help us achieve our goals.

We’ve split the team so that you will be working alongside the HR Business Partner & HR Advisor for your defined area of the business. You will be the main point of administrative support for stakeholders around the business. Your responses will be consultative, informing rather than doing, teaching rather than telling.  We are not a transactional department; we add value to managers and employees by helping them through our policies and processes. 

This may be an administrative focused role, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get to work on a range of exciting projects that will help us to transform the way we operate as a company.

Affinity Water is a water supply company owned by a consortium of Allianz, HICL and DIF Tamblin

Affinity Water was established through the purchase of Veolia Water's UK water supply operations to Rift Acquisitions, an entity established by Morgan Stanley and M&G Investments, for £1.2 billion on 28 June 2012. The three separate Veolia Water-branded businesses: Veolia Water Central, Veolia Water Southeast and Veolia Water East were brought together as one company, under the Affinity Water brand on 1 October 2012.

Veolia Environnement retained a 10% stake in Affinity Water for five years from incorporation, using the proceeds of the disposal to reduce its debt, as part of a €5bn debt-reduction programme announced in December 2011.[3][4]

In May 2017, a consortium of Allianz, HICL and DIF purchased Morgan Stanley and M&G's 90% holding, followed by Veolia's 10% holding.
