What is the purpose of this role?

Carry out prework inspection to ensure works are completed accurately and in a coordinated approach. To attend site at the clients request in response to permitting issues



What will this role involve?

Liaise with the Operational Control Room and arrange site meetings to maximise productivity and plan the most efficient way of completing job at traffic sensitive locations. Some site supervision will be required along with site visits in accordance with permitting regulations with the client. Individual to change resource requirements to ensure right first-time approach to work crews.


What are we looking for?

Experience (what I have done)

  • Implemented and meeting targets within a team
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Previous work on a highway's maintenance contract
  • Planning / Coordination of a variety of works
  • Worked with relevant health and safety guidelines
  • Supervised others (desirable)
  • Identified opportunities to improve the service we deliver

Knowledge (what I know)

  • Operational knowledge and understanding of the market and industry
  • Detailed awareness of NRSWA and Permitting - desirable
  • Behavioural health and safety (VFL)
  • Computer literacy - Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook
  • Basic programming of work
