Support Worker
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and positive thinking Support Workers to join our client’s Mental Health Services based in either Sneinton, Mapperley or Radford.
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £16,816 - £19,088 per annum (£8.74 - £9.92) plus enhancements
Hours: 37 per week, full time
Closing Date: 29 February 2020
Interview Date: 6 March 2020

About the role:
As a Support Worker you will support Service Users enduring a range of Mental Health needs. The aim of the service is to support them to live independently in the community.
Support could be anything from providing emotional support to washing pots. You could even get the chance to hear an amazing story about a service user’s life whilst making them a tasty balanced meal. You may support service users with budgeting, administration, and you will be an advocate for them in professional meetings.

About you:
To be successful in the role of Support Worker your naturally empathetic personality will shine through during key work and by being organised and caring you will make a massive difference to the service user’s well-being.
You will be equipped with the right values and be given free training to make you highly resilient to allow you to demonstrate patience and understanding even in times of crisis.
Mental Health isn’t 9 till 5…
They are open 7 days per week 365 days per year. The shifts will be over a 7-day period and the ideal candidate will need to be available to work shifts which range between 7am - 10 pm and will be able to work at least 3 weekends out of 4.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of the service a set shift pattern cannot be accommodated and all applicants must be able to start and finish at the times given.
