Salary: This role offers the advertised salary plus uncapped commission London Weighting Allowance where applicable and a company car. Salary is pro rata for part time and you’ll receive a car allowance (own car required for part time)
Shifts: Part Time: Flexible hours are available and desired shift patterns will be discussed with the Hiring Manager on a case by case basis depending on your availability.
A minimum of 12 hours per week are required with no less than 4 hours per shift. For example, you could work 3 x 4 hour shifts per week. Shifts will be between 9am-9pm Monday to Saturday.
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week – Working hours are between 12pm and 9pm Monday to Friday. Additional hours may be required on Saturdays. Your Line Manager will let you know your shift pattern in advance, which could vary from time to time.
Residential sales, field sales, door-to-door sales – whatever you usually call it – is the bees’ knees at Virgin Media. You’re the face of fibre, TV, mobile and phone products and services from a brand people trust. And there’s a real buzz when you close a sale, because once you hit your target the commission’s endless.
First, we’ll get you on our training course, so you know everything about what we offer – and how to match potential customers to the right service or product.
Then, we’ll give you your very own territory to sell to. You’ll plan your routes, hit the road and knock on around 175 doors a day – confidently telling every interested person how life with Virgin Media will be marvellous.
You’ll get your best results outside of office hours - late afternoon or evening is when most people are at home. Largely you’ll be working on your own, but you’ll have the full support of your team and your manager. Working outside in the summer is a bonus but you’ll also have to be prepared to brave the cold winters.
