About Mental Health Innovations

Mental Health Innovations (MHI) is an ambitious new charity, driven to provide the public with access to much needed digital support services. The organisation’s purpose, to transform lives by improving access to digital resources, is built on a strong belief that technology can help improve mental health outcomes in the UK.

Founded in November 2017 following the success of The Royal Foundation’s ‘Heads Together’ campaign, it was determined that by utilising digital platforms and tools there was huge potential to provide much needed assistance by offering remote, national, support services to individuals struggling with their mental health.

It is an exciting time to join the charity, having recently launched Shout.  This is our first digital programme providing reactive, supportive, and professional digital support to texters on a 24/7 crisis messaging platform.
