Job description

We are looking for an ambitious and proactive individual to take on our brand new role of Change and Training Manager.

You will initially be responsible for developing a business change plan with support from key stakeholders to safeguard the smooth delivery of the Future of Shared Services (FoSS) programme. During this time, you will become a subject matter expert, which will enable you to offer advice and guidance to colleagues across the Department for Transport, delivering training sessions to each of the Agencies we support.
 

Responsibilities

Some of your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Develop a business change plan, assessing the change impact, conducting impact analyses, assessing change readiness and identifying key partners.

- Acquire a full and detailed understanding of the group SAP training strategy and communicate this clearly to key senior stakeholders across the Department, providing comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership.

- Assess training needs for all user groups, subject matter experts, users in the line, professional users and any super users; making sure that your training programme is tailored to match the needs of these users.

- Develop professional and collaborative working relationships with both the SAP service providers and the executive agencies trainers to exploit the full potential of the SAP functionalities and supporting systems

Travel

Regular travel across the UK will be required, with the need to also regularly attend the London offices if you are primarily based elsewhere. You will have the autonomy to manage your own diary in this respect.

You will be a highly proactive individual, with a passion for Learning and Development, with previous experience of planning and delivering training to others.

You will bring exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your workload quickly and effectively to remain on track regardless of setbacks.

As a self-starter who requires little direction and works autonomously, you make a real difference to your working environment.

Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allow you to build positive working relationships across different levels and functions, and work together with others inside and outside the Department in order to achieve results.

Hastings Location information:
Our office location is currently under review and a new office location will be decided in 2020. Our current office is based in Ashdown House Whilst it is likely that our new office location will also be in Hastings town centre , this may be subject to change and staff will be informed as soon as possible once a new location is confirmed.
