Lendlease are currently recruiting for a Regional Planning Manager for the North West regional operations. The Regional Planning Manager, manages the planning operations and team(s) to provide effective services to the development, bid and delivery phases of operations. Develop and manage planning & scheduling procedures and processes to ensure compliance and alignment with organisational objectives.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage the implementation of planning and scheduling strategies and plan and coordinate the activities within the planning area, which may include planning, scheduling, designing, measuring and managing of construction works.
  • Provide tools and advice, identifying opportunities the wider operations team to independently manage planning activities.
  • Manage the delivery of practical and economical solutions and to develop plans for team(s) to facilitate continuous improvements and comply with regulations and developments.
  • Provide specialised subject matter knowledge and supervising application of planning methods, techniques and strategies to provide technical and process guidance to team members and staff.
  • Manage and interpret analysis, and prepare reports and documentation to inform decision making and provide information for developments and construction projects in compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
  • Manage and maintain internal and external relationships to coordinate activities across disciplines and functions, and train, mentor and coach staff and team members to develop internal expertise and ensure that staff are adequately resourced to perform;

Attributes:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related technical discipline, combined with advanced subject matter knowledge across the function and advanced people management skills.
  • Experience in a planning or design planning role, and/or knowledge of the construction industry, and surveying principles and techniques for the formulation and implementation of surveying plans combined with experience in developing surveying plans.
  • Problem solving, technical and analytical skills to support the implementation of organisational policies, procedures and programs and surveying operations.
  • Written and verbal communication skills to persuade, facilitate decision making, manage expectations, influence and build relationships with key stakeholders.
