Chief Executive Officer

We are looking for a Chief Executive Officer to provide leadership and direction to a professional membership organisation, in the development and achievement of its vision, mission and values.

Position: Chief Executive Officer

Location: London, W10

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time – with flexible working opportunities

Salary: £105,000 - £115,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Benefits: Include 25 days per year + bank holidays + 3 days leave between Christmas

and New Year, 6% employer pension contribution, Employee Assistance Programme

and the opportunity for flexible working.

This is a tremendously exciting time to be involved with the society as the membership numbers continue to grow, allowing them to improve the health of more woman across the globe through education and training, programmatic initiatives and advocacy. In October 2020 they celebrate the 30th anniversary of their World Congress in Glasgow.

The Role

The Chief Executive Officer will provide leadership and direction to the organisation in the achievement of its vision, mission and values by taking overall responsibility for developing, implementing and achieving the business strategy and operational business plans.

As Chief Executive Officer, you will be able to inspire, motivate and lead the organisation by example, in accordance with its values. An effective leader with a solution-focussed attitude and collaborative approach, you will bring with you:

• A proven track record of leadership and achievement within the voluntary sector.
• Experience of developing organisational strategy and delivering growth, innovation and change.
• A proven track record of working collaboratively with Boards.

About the Organisation

The society is a highly respected professional membership organisation across 140 countries, comprised primarily of clinicians who are ultrasound experts in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This includes Obstetricians and Gynecologists, trainees, medical doctors, scientists, sonographers, midwives and other health professionals who work to advance women’s health and well-being globally. Their mission is to improve women’s health through the provision, advancement and dissemination of the highest quality education, standards and research information around ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
