The Company

Making Moves are a 5 year old property start‑up based in Shoreditch. Our team comprises of 19 current employees with a view to now growing the team extensively over the next five years. This role sits within the core functions at Making Moves London, alongside Operations & Marketing. It will be part-time, working 3 days a week.

Job Overview

The Researcher & Database Administrator will share their time between supporting the Agency team, updating and monitoring our internal database and reporting on performance. This role is a vital part of the running of Making Moves as it greatly increases the efficiency of the teams and directly impacts the number of clients we can work with. It is the responsibility of the Researcher & Database Administrator to ensure we have accurate and up to date information at all times.

The Role

The Researcher & Database Administrator will use a variety of sources and build relationships with agents to keep our building availability data accurate. They will support the agency team by ensuring they have access to all relevant buildings that match a client’s requirement and researching potential off-market options. It will also be their responsibility to ensure the internal database is accurate, adding information where necessary and tracking potential opportunities. Finally, they will regularly report on KPIs and data from all teams to the General Manager and Directors, flagging any trends and anomalies.

  • Experience working with CRM/Databases beneficial

  • Excellent attention to detail, spelling and grammar
  • Ability to prioritise conflicting tasks
  • IT literate with a good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Effective time management and ability to manage their own workload
  • Appetite to get involved in team events and submersed in the MM culture
