If you can offer companies creative multi-marketing sales solutions for their brands within the arena of media sales then we can certainly put your skills to good work.

HM Communications is a contract publisher that provides consumers with bespoke, exclusive content within our luxury printed and digital magazines. Some of our clients and partners include Fortnum & Mason, The Ladies European Tour, Sky Sports, Fred Sirieix, Elite Singles and Le Cordon Bleu.

We are looking to grow our portfolio of projects and to help us achieve this we would like to find two talented individuals who can help us to grow our revenue stream and our business. We are looking for applicants who are self-employed and who could work remotely either on a part time or full time basis.

What we are looking for?

You would need to be highly motivated and show a skill set that would enable you to engage creatively with companies to help them market their brands and services in an engaging way through our magazines. This translates into selling advertising packages for both printed and digital magazines as well as content advertising. You will approach companies at executive level (From Brand Managers to MDs) and will be making skilful sales presentations by telephone and online.

You will need to Pro-actively source your own leads to contact - this will be a crucial part of enabling you to generate sales and so you will receive training on how best to source and research these potential clients.

HM Communications will provide a complete background to the projects that we produce and we provide exceptionally high quality media packs to help you make a very professional sales presentation for the magazines we publish.

Qualities you will need to succeed would be:

You will need to have good communication skills and have the ability to quickly build rapport with individuals of all levels.

The ability to be a good listener and the ability to create an angle or a USP to help motivate potential clients to do business with you.

You will need to have strong negotiating skills to achieve good advertising rates - clients will invariably want to negotiate these costs and being a good negotiator will in turn help you to maximise the business you write and the commissions you earn.

You should be a strong relationship builder. Good writing skills are important so that when you present a prospective client with the media information by email the clients are clear as to the opportunity that is being afforded to them.

 You should have a proven track record in the arena of media sales HOWEVER we would not rule out candidates who have worked outside of this field BUT who have the ability to demonstrate exceptional selling/closing skills and are looking for a new challenge.
