The IT Business Partner for PD Quality will help shape a new future of Quality in Roche and Genentech through information and technology partnering. They will lead strategies aligned to the key strategic aim of the Quality organization to bring safe personalized medicines to our patients faster by leveraging tailored safety and quality strategies that proactively prevent, detect and resolve GVP and GCP quality issues, and improve the integrity of our data  in PV and QM systems, so that we build Health Authority confidence in the evidence we provide.  Enabling the smooth and rapid approval of our medicines, and optimal use of resources by focusing upon the issues that matter. This will be underpinned by efficient, aligned and integrated use of data and metrics that enables oversight of the key quality outputs.

Three sub-streams will deliver the components of this objective:

1.Delivery of clinical impact factors (i.e. endpoint credibility and the clinical QMS, including clinical PV) driven by PDQ and the GCP Council.

2.Affiliate oversight (i.e. PV/GCP compliance) in remodeled GRA using automated and predictive approaches developed by International Quality Management (IQM).

3.Improvement of data integrity for key systems (e.g. CTMS, GPRS, MDMS, PLATO) that feed into the PSMF and PV COMET to optimize oversight and performance of the PV system driven by PDS and the GVP Council.

 

This person will work very closely with key stakeholders in PDQ and across Group Informatics.

Responsibilities:

As Principal ITBP in PDQIX you will:

  • Provide strategic direction, prioritization, mobilization of resources aligned to shared business objectives with respective areas
  • Actively participate in strategy setting meetings in PDQ and across informatics
  • Be accountable for Quarterly Business Reviews and the Quality System Portfolio
  • Take a leadership role that educates, advices and challenges to enrich business area strategy for the benefit of the whole
  • Negotiate and influence to ensures the right product owners are assigned to key initiatives
  • Work with business, data and insights & infrastructure teams to architect, design, prototype, and develop solutions that enable quality decisions.
  • Lead Computer Software Compliance ensuring “right to operate” and audit readiness of all informatics systems in PD

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems or related experience; Master/PHD plus.
  • Extensive experience leading technical product portfolio, applications and or data analytical systems
  • Experience with people management or product management experience
  • Solid understanding of FDA, and Global Health Authority Regulations
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
