We have a fantastic opportunity for a Strategic Procurement Lead to join our Business in London.

This role is to oversee strategic procurement activities as a core part of the Residential Product & Technical Team, and is a key role within the organisation and will support the European business in all broad procurement matters pertaining to residential or residential led development projects.

Accountabilities:

  • Ownership of the residential product procurement
  • Ownership on supply market reviews
  • Co-lead of sourcing activities with the Central Procurement team
  • Category Lead for design consultants
  • Lead of the European procurement PCG (Project Control group)
  • Residential project team support for consultants & products matters
  • Support for Product & Technical strategic activities
  • Receive lessons learned and implement continuous improvement strategies to ensure product quality
  • To work proactively with Central Procurement and Design & Technical colleagues to continuously review the product investigating alternative options and implementing via formal change control where implemented
  • Review of consultant & supplier performance for compliance with Lendlease requirements
  • Provide proactive project support to Residential Business Unit colleagues and Project Teams for all procurement matters associated with residential projects
  • Relationship management with internal stakeholders where input is required on projects (e.g. Build to Rent team, sustainability, safety)
  • Project consultant team engagements to support project outputs
  • Supply chain engagement pertaining to product & services

Knowledge, Skills & Experience required:

  • Proven experience in Procurement of various categories
  • Able to directly negotiate with 3rd parties
  • Must have proven experience in senior stakeholder's management
  • Excellent language and presentation skills relating
  • Supply chain/ Logistics knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of the complete design and construction process
  • Thorough knowledge of design and construction technical details
  • Experience and detailed knowledge of statutory regulations and technical codes of practice
  • Able to present procurement, product and technical material to internal & external audiences
