Position Summary

For more than 25 years, Eurosport has been delivering quality live content, connecting fans and athletes around the sports they love - from grand slam tennis tournaments, to cycling events such as the Tour de France, right through to the Olympic Games.

Following the acquisition by Discovery, the business is now re-energising its digital platforms to provide audiences in +50 countries (across multiple languages) with authentic, premium and innovative content. This is focused around the Eurosport Player (ES Player): an over-the-top (OTT) platform that gives customers access to linear and non-linear sports content. Having secured the exclusive European broadcast rights for the Olympics until 2024, there's no better time to join the Eurosport team in this incredibly exciting time of rapid growth and innovation!

Eurosport are excited to be recruiting for a Forecasting and Reporting Manager with a focus on supporting the business through effective forecasting and marketing planning. Reporting directly into the Senior Analytics Manager, this role will support the ongoing growth of the business by providing scientific understanding to our subscription base.

  • Own quarterly planning cycles, projecting performance and setting appropriate targets.
  • Lead the weekly trading meetings and report results against previous forecasts
  • Manage multiple stakeholders, working closely with and influencing commercial, marketing and finance teams.
  • Deliver regular reporting that provides insights and KPIs that support decision making across the business
  • Implement advanced subscriber modelling to understand, segment and predict subscriber behaviour.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior executives
  • Experience within a subscription business with understanding of the drivers of subscription services and key metrics preferred.
  • Experience with data visualisation (Tableau, Power BI) and marketing analytics tools (Adobe / Google Analytics)
  • Interest in digital marketing and a passion for sports are a plus
