Cheer Squad Volunteer
We’re looking for Cheer Squad volunteers to provide a great atmosphere for all at RideLondon, the world’s greatest festival of cycling, spurring on supporters towards the finish line!
Location: London, SW19
Dates: 16th August 2020 – Please note, this event is currently scheduled to go ahead as planned. Due to COVID-19 dates for events are subject to change. We will endeavour to inform you of any changes to any events/activities we are involved in as soon as possible
Time: For this event, all it takes is a few hours of your time to support the riders. Becoming a Cheer Squad Team Leader would involve committing time in the lead up to the event and being present from start to finish
The opportunity:
RideLondon is the world’s greatest festival of cycling, staged every year since the 2012 London Olympic Games. A fantastic closed-road event with a fun, accessible and a free family ride in central London – there is no other event like it! Our team of passionate cyclists will be taking on this unique course and we’re looking for Cheer Squad volunteers to provide a great atmosphere for all, spurring on supporters towards the finish line!
As a Cheer Squad volunteer crew you will be:
- Looking out for the team on the course
- Cheering throughout the event, with an extra special cheer for #TeamARUK participants!
- Distributing merchandise
- Setup and takedown of flags and banners
