Treasurer Board Member

The Board wishes to recruit a new Treasurer and is looking for someone with financial management experience and an interest in live music. We actively seek Trustees of all ages and encourage applications from individuals with no previous board experience and from different backgrounds.

Following a Governance review and in line with the organisation’s strategic business plan, the Board wishes to recruit new Trustees with a passion for live music, and the skill set and breadth of profiles to help WMC further innovate and excel. We are particularly interested in the following areas of expertise: Artists and Music Leaders, financial management, venue management, Health and Safety, Digital / CRM and IT, legal and HR.

About the Organisation

Wiltshire Music Centre (WMC) is a registered charity and National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England. It currently has a Board of 11 voluntary, non-executive Directors / Trustees, and is run by a professional team of 14.2 full time equivalent staff led by Chief Executive Maud Saint-Sardos and Artistic Director James Slater. 

Now attracting over 60,000 audience members and participants a year, WMC is one of the UK’s finest purpose-built concert halls. We showcase a year-round programme of over 160 live performances of world-class classical, folk, jazz and world music; we deliver an extensive Creative Learning programme across the region; we act as a vibrant music-making community hub. 

You may have experience in areas such Live Music, Concerts, Arts, Artists, Music Leaders, Musicians, Finance, Financial, Accounts, Financial Management, Venue Managements, Events Management, Health and Safety, H&S, Digital, CRM, IT, Legal, Law, HR, Human Resources.
