Kew Gardens 10K Volunteer
We’re looking for Cheer Squad volunteers to provide a great atmosphere for all at the Richmond Running Festival, spurring on supporters towards the finish line!
Location: Kew Gardens, TW9
Dates: 12th September 2020 – Please note, this event is currently scheduled to go ahead as planned. Due to COVID-19 dates for events are subject to change. We will endeavour to inform you of any changes to any events/activities we are involved in as soon as possible
Time: For this event, all it takes is a few hours of your time to support the runners. Becoming a Cheer Squad Team Leader would involve committing time in the lead up to the event and being present from start to finish
The opportunity:
The Richmond Running Festival is a celebrated community event, with the Kew Gardens 10K a key part of the festival. Our team of passionate runners will be taking on this unique course inside a beautiful world heritage site! We’re looking for Cheer Squad volunteers to provide a great atmosphere for all, spurring on supporters towards the finish line!
As a Cheer Squad volunteer you will be:
- Looking out for the team on the course
- Cheering throughout the event, with an extra special cheer for #TeamARUK participants!
- Distributing merchandise
- Setup and takedown of flags and banners
