Richmond RunFEST Volunteer

We’re looking for Cheer Squad volunteers to provide a great atmosphere for all at the Richmond Running Festival, spurring on supporters towards the finish line!

Location: Richmond, TW9

Dates: 13th September 2020 – Please note, this event is currently scheduled to go ahead as planned. Due to COVID-19 dates for events are subject to change. We will endeavour to inform you of any changes to any events/activities we are involved in as soon as possible

Time: For this event, all it takes is a few hours of your time to support the runners. Becoming a Cheer Squad Team Leader would involve committing time in the lead up to the event and being present from start to finish

The opportunity:

The Richmond Running Festival is a celebrated community event, with the Richmond Half & Full Marathons a key part of the festival. Our team of passionate runners will be taking on the unique sites of London with fantastic river views! We’re looking for Cheer Squad volunteers to provide a great atmosphere for all, spurring on supporters towards the finish line!

As a Cheer Squad volunteer you will be:

  • Looking out for the team on the course
  • Cheering throughout the event, with an extra special cheer for #TeamARUK participants!
  • Distributing merchandise
  • Setup and takedown of flags and banners
