Position: Advanced Practitioner Social Worker

Location: Rutland - Oakham

Salary: £38,934 to £41,813 inclusive of market supplement

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Duration: Permanent

The Role

A role in the Referral Assessment and Intervention Service is an opportunity to make a huge impact – both on Rutland, and on your own career. This is a vital position at the front door of the children’s services. You will be a practice role model for other social workers while holding some complex cases and ensuring children are safeguarded. It’s a chance to get closer to the things that really matter.

We want to hear from you if you have social work experience and strong knowledge of relevant legislation. You will assist in the development of the service to ensure the Council go from strength to strength, so innovation and leadership skills are key.

To support you further, your SWE registration and DBS costs are covered. The will also provide financial relocation assistance, if you’re moving to join the Council (subject to management approval).

The successful applicant for this post will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
