An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic, forward thinking Energy Team in role of Communal Heating Manager. Reporting to the Senior Communal Heating Manager the role will act as a Client Relationship Manager overseeing the ongoing management of a portfolio of L&Q Energy new and existing communal heating schemes to ensure excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.

With a rapidly expanding heat customer portfolio, growing from 7,000 heat customers to in excess of 30,000 over the next few years this is a really exciting time to join L&Q Energy!

The Communal Heating Manager will be focused on ensuring that amazing customer experience is delivered consistently. The successful candidate will be a high performing and ambitious manager, with excellent communication skills, great attention to detail and willing to go the extra mile.

This is a high impact role working in partnership with other areas of the business and the building services team to seek opportunities to measure and improve customer service. The Communal Heating Manager is a main point of contact for internal and external customers and stakeholders for dedicated communal heating schemes on behalf of L&Q Energy.

You will be responsible for supporting technical colleagues and consultants to ensure schemes are delivered according to our communal heating design guide specification, co-ordinating consultants, exercising quality control, monitoring progress and general administration.

To be considered for this role candidates will display the following:

·        Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a strong focus on deliver excellent customer service,

·        Knowledge of communal and district heating systems and heat metering and billing, ideally with relevant experience,

·        Strong contract and supplier management skills, 

·        Experience and understanding of procurement of works and services, including knowledge of OJEU, 

·        Good commercial acumen and financial awareness.
