As a Data Engineer at Capco you will be working with consulting teams to develop data solutions for the world’s largest financial services firms:

  • Architecting and developing well tested data pipelines
  • Architecting and developing modern, scalable, resilient, and performant data architectures
  • Demonstrating and helping clients adhere to best practice engineering and SDLC
  • Work alongside clients to interpret requirements and define industry-leading solutions
  • Support internal Capco capabilities by sharing insight, experience and credentials

You will have experience working with some of the following Methodologies/Technologies;

  • Strong cloud provider’s experience on at least one of AWS, Azure or GCP (Databricks, Glue, Dataflow)
  • Messaging technologies – Kafka
  • Experience with schema design using semi-structured and structured data structures
  • SQL – intermediate/advanced knowledge
  • Good understanding of the differences and tradeoff between SQL and NoSQL
  • Experience with Graph databases
  • Experience with data lake formation and data warehousing principles and technologies – BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake
  • Experience in architecting, building, maintaining and troubleshooting data ingest pipelines – Pub/Sub, Queues, Flink, Dataflow
  • Strong oral and written communication
