• Field based
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to a range of facilities to include, painting, basic carpentry, plumbing and light changes. Working with other trades and sub-contractors as and when required
• Work proactively to manage task volumes in conjunction with the Facilities Manager, providing regular updates on task status
• Responsible for the planning and undertaking of scheduled maintenance
• Maintenance on stock racking
• Respond to unplanned maintenance emergencies, faults and breakdowns by ensuring that faults are diagnosed and repaired quickly to quality standard and cost efficiently.
• Manage stock of facilities/maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, PPM Inspectors or certificates.
• Investigate faults, identify causes and effect remedies.
• Prepare accurate/timely reports as required.
• Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with current regulations.
• Assist when and where required with installation works.
• Continually provide reactive support when required, to a high standard and within given timescales
