Job Details

Do you have an exciting current toolbox full of fresh, sharp, innovative learning design skills? Are you stuck in a rut? Bored with what you’re doing?

Maybe you’re looking for a change, or perhaps you are in the market despite your remarkable talent!

Carpetright Ltd has a keen eye on the future of the flooring market. Despite our market leading position, we are not content to stand still. We are clear that our people are the future of the business, and developing their skills and knowledge is key to that success.

Unlike many other businesses, we are growing our Learning and Development offering, and we’re looking for some fresh talent to help us achieve our ambitious goals.

To help achieve those goals we are recruiting a Learning Designer, initially for a 12m period, who will report to our L&D Manager.  The successful candidate will be involved with the design of all our new digital and remote learning interventions across a range of skills, knowledge and behaviours. You will be a graduate with 3+ years of learning design experience, complemented with a CIPD Level 3 Training Practice qualification (or equivalent – TAP. Etc).

The Learning Designer will take the agreed learning objectives and turn them into innovative, remarkable exciting content to help our learners meet demanding expectations across sales, service, operations, compliance…you name it, we’re refreshing it!

Primarily you will be providing high quality fully designed interventions to hand over to the digital design team who will take your awesome content and turn them into reality.

This role offers an exciting challenge with an opportunity to really make a difference whilst working alongside a highly motivated leadership team.

If you have proven experience designing learning, and you want to work with a great team, we would love to hear from you

Company

Nearly everything you walk on or sleep in, we sell. Probably more than you ever imagined, from carpets to artificial grass, rugs to beds and mattresses. A business 50 years in the making and a market leading retailer like no other.

We promote flexible working and equality within the workplace. Whether you’re seeking a long term career with structured development and a clear path for progression or part time work during school hours, evenings or weekends – we are able to offer a variety of opportunities to suit you.
