L&Q has an exciting opportunity for a Building Information Management (BIM) Workstream Lead. This is a new role based in our Strategic Services department and will give the successful candidate an opportunity to lead BIM in the development of multiple BIM works packages (technology, process and people) for our Development & Sales Division. 

The successful candidate will manage a long-term change management programme. Responsible for the development and procurement of BIM process and technology across multiple divisions projects and teams. And will play a central role in designing and the management of the L&Q strategic five-year BIM programme for the development and handover of new homes.

They will have responsibility for a team of BIM mangers and be responsible for the management of external BIM software vendors and consultants in line with L&Q corporate BIM programme.

 

They will take a key role in shaping the L&Q strategic BIM programme, to ensure all systems procured or processed developed are focused on quality, fire safety and whole lifecycle costs. L&Q are a developer, main contractor and owner operator so the successful candidate will have the rare opportunity to lead development of information management across the full lifecycle of buildings.

 

The Workstream Lead is an important role in the development of L&Q long term digital strategy, they will ensure the corporate BIM strategy for quality of information is designed and procured in a way that delivers real benefits for the design, construction, handover and operation of large residential projects.

Skills and experience necessary: 
· BIM certified professional or a high level of experience of BIM information management.  
· Detailed knowledge and understanding of the BS & PAS 1192 suite of standards and related ISOs and demonstrable experience in delivering the BIM standards on projects.  
· Experience of project management in the implementing of BIM process, technology and training across multiple projects consisting of internal and external stakeholders. 
· Ability to manage budgets.  
· Experience of using BIM process for information management.
· Experience in change management.
· Experience delivering BIM for housing.
