We have a fabulous opportunity for a Specialist Researcher to join our client’s Strategy and Impact team.

Position: Specialist Researcher

Location: Head office is Sandy, Bedfordshire, however the location can be entirely flexible as homeworking is available.

Salary: £26,212 to 29,321 per annum

Hours: Full time, permanent

About the role:

Our clients believe that work should be rewarding and fulfilling for all of its workforce and the Impact and Evaluation team provide evidence by which they monitor its progress towards this aim. They run in-house research to understand the perceptions of their workforce which inform their People Strategy and continuous improvements, including evaluating the quality of leadership and management.

As specialist Research you will use advanced knowledge of statistical method and strong data processing skills to analyse multiple datasets to produce this evidence. You will have many opportunities to use strong interpersonal and presentation skills to disseminate results to internal stakeholders at all levels and work closely with the relevant Heads of Function and our Internal Communications team.

In a time of significant organisational transformation, you will be a key contributor, advising on the best changes to the ongoing workforce monitors and performance measures so that the charity continues to deliver actionable insight that meets the need of their strategy over time.

About You:

We are looking for a great candidate who can bring bags of enthusiasm to this Research and Analysis role. As Specialist Researcher you will have proven quantitative research and data analysis skills and a good knowledge of what makes good workplaces tick.

You will demonstrate strong learning and listening skills, have a keen eye for detail and good technical skills in statistical analysis and its presentation.

You will also have experience of creating engaging reports and presentations using a variety of tools and approaches. You will have knowledge of using programmes such as Microsoft tools 365, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Power BI etc.

Other role you may have experience of could include: Research Analyst, Impact and Evaluation, Qualitative/Quantative Research, Research Specialist, Research Manager, Strategy and Impact, Research Assistant, Impact and Performance, Research Project Manager etc.

This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. You will be asked to declare unspent convictions and cautions at offer of employment stage
