This role involves working as part of an alliance project team in the ISA’s Analytical and Active Area portfolio. The portfolio covers a broad range of multi-disciplined, electrical, mechanical and civils biased tasks and minor projects.

The position reports to the Site Agent, working in support of the preparation, organisation and control of civil and structural engineering biased tasks and the civil elements of multi-disciplined projects.

The candidate should hold a recognised qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering, typically at degree level, but higher vocational qualifications (HNC and above) will also be considered.

Experience working in Civil Engineering is expected, this may include the completion of a Graduate scheme.

The candidate is expected to have experience of construction/work sites and to be able to demonstrate an appropriate understanding of industry safety standards.

Experience of the Temporary Works or Street Works Regulations is beneficial but not required.

Experience of the Sellafield Site is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities:

As a site engineer, you will be:

  • Responsible for day to day surveying and setting out duties.
  • You will ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification.
  • You will also operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance.

 

As an experienced site engineer, you will have relevant industry qualification (HND/HNC/BEng), a relevant CSCS card and ideally first aid certification.  You will also have experience of working on a construction site and will be able to evidence experience of setting out and levelling.  You will have experience working on projects valuing between £5 and £20 million.
