The Role

We are looking to recruit for a Business Data Analyst. The role will be based from Hitchin, but the successful candidate will work closely with the group IT team and the LCOs to manage the capture, analysis, and publication of all performance-related data to help improve the businesses' performance and delivery against agreed targets. This new role is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively across the business in order to create 'one version of the truth', turn data into information, information into insights and insight into business advantage.

Within this role you will be responsible for: -

• Compliance with, and demonstrable quantitative improvement against Group targets and initiatives.
• Compliance with, and demonstrable quantitative improvement against Divisional and LCO targets and initiatives.
• Ownership from a strategic perspective of Divisional data - including all supporting LCO data.
• Acting as chief point of liaison between Willmott Dixon Construction LCOs, Central Teams, Group IT, Group Sustainability, Group Health & Safety, and the WD Foundation with respect to data capture and analysis.
• Regular, accurate, interrogatable publication of all relevant performance data.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

You will need to have proven experience of: -

• An excellent level of verbal, analytical and written communication
• Presenting to all levels of seniority from one to one to large
• Creating and delivering data-driven solutions at both a tactical and strategic
• Strong skills in the use of Microsoft Office (including Excel)
• Power BI
• Creating, managing and analysing business data and reporting
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
