Are you an internal communications specialist with a passion for creating creative communications, building strong relationships, and making a real difference to how a division communicates to its stakeholders? Do you enjoy building a deep understanding of your division’s business and developing and delivering communication solutions that ensure all stakeholders know the right information, at the right time? If so, then we would be interested in hearing about your experience.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Commodities and Global Markets Group to help us invigorate our communication strategy and to design and deliver engaging and effective communications for staff and stakeholders.

This position will see you initially focus on promoting a shared understanding of initiatives, projects and value propositions and assisting the leadership team as required. This is a role that will continue to grow as you make it your own.

To do this you will need to be able to build solid relationships, work independently and to partner with senior stakeholders across the various divisions in the Group as well as the wider Macquarie communication teams. You should be proactive, organised and people-oriented, with an intuitive and innovative approach to your work and communications.

We are looking for a strong writer with a background in planning and delivering internal communications, ideally from banking or professional services, with experience in using internal social platforms (we use Workplace), town halls and video as core communication channels. Front Office or financial markets experience will be highly regarded.
