Senior Design Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity within our Infrastructure business for an ambitious and talented Senior Temporary Works Design Engineer to join our MSES Business Unit.
This is a senior role in the temporary works design team within Morgan Sindall Engineering Solutions. You will be expected to have demonstrable experience in and will be required to undertake temporary works designs and checks for schemes on major infrastructure projects throughout the UK. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians in producing high quality temporary works solutions across a wide range of projects. You will be responsible for the quality and commercial aspects of the delivery of design on a portfolio of projects to meet the needs of our customers. This position gives excellent opportunities to develop and progress as both an engineer and manager.
- Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer
- Extensive experience in the design of a wide range of temporary works schemes
- Able to compile fee proposals for small to medium projects in conjunction with the Discipline or sector lead and Commercial team.
- Expected to work to project budgets.
Morgan Sindall Engineering Solutions (MSES) is an engineering consultancy within Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, we specialise in providing; multi-sector temporary works design, underground permanent works design (tunnels & shafts), expertise across digital, material and geotechnical engineering and design management services. We have six offices across the UK; Rugby, Stafford, Salford, London, Solihull and Motherwell. We currently work across a number of sectors including; Highways, Nuclear, Energy, Water, Aviation, Rail & Electrification and Construction.
