Fixed Term contract 12 months 35 hours per week

Our Maintenance team are looking for a professional and experienced Technical Administrator to be part of a new and growing team at L&Q managing outsourced maintenance works. This role is being offered on a one-year fixed term basis. The successful candidate will work as part of a small team and will report into the Contract Supervisor.

Our customers and residents are at the heart of everything we do and as a member of the Maintenance Team, it is vital that you have the passion for great customer service. With the ability and willingness to deliver excellence to both internal and external customers every time.

 
The post holder will have an opportunity to play a part in delivering a high impact service to our residents. They will be responsible for coordinating essential maintenance work across the L&Q estate. Managing contractors and timetables, to ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner with a right first time attitude. Ensuring that our residents receive a satisfactory service and that maintenance issues are resolved in line with service level agreements.
 

You will take care of arranging works to ensure efficient service, Logging data and notes on the computer system to ensure smooth handover and communication. Passing on relevant information to all stakeholders. Prioritising and scheduling emergency jobs so you must have excellent organisational skills. Monitoring of emails and adhering to SLAs escalating any issues to your line manager or other relevant colleagues. 

 

To be considered for this role candidates will be able to demonstrate:

·        Knowledge/experience of a workforce/logistic management and/or telephony systems in a fast paced, customer facing environment

·        An understanding of Service Level dynamics, resource implications and performance indicators

·        Able to demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills

·        Effective communication skills essential and ability to work collaboratively within a team interacting with internal and external customers and stakeholders at all levels

·        Able to demonstrate exceptional organisational and planning skills

·        MS Office suit – Essential. Able to use business systems, e.g. accounting systems, office applications – Essential
