Content Marketing Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Content Manager to use their wealth of experience in content creation and storytelling to help release children from poverty in Jesus' name.
Position: Content Manager
Location: Office based in Fleet, with working from home flexibility
Salary: £33,400 pa (within the grade £33,400 to £39,500 pa)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:00
Duration: Fixed term, 1-year maternity cover
Benefits: Enhanced pension scheme, 25 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays, non-contributory pension scheme (10% employer contribution), enhanced holiday allowance, Private Medical Insurance and Dental Insurance (on completion of probation period), Income Protection & Group Life cover.

About the Role
The Content Manager works within the fast paced, vibrant and collaborative Communications department and will have excellent and in-depth knowledge in planning and producing compelling content, while demonstrating the ability to lead and cast long term visions.
This role will shape and drive the way the charity connects with existing and new audiences via informative, inspirational and valuable content. You'll ensure content and stories engage and compel supporters at every stage of their journey to connect deeper with the heart of the organisations vision and mission.
Your key purpose will be to provide strategic management of content across multiple channels, both on and offline. By doing this well, you’ll enable greater reach and engagement with existing and potential sponsors, ultimately releasing even more children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
Responsibilities
- Actively maintain and promote the organisations Christian ethos and values
- Develop and maintain content strategies to meet agreed organisational outcomes
- Create and deliver effective content across the comms landscape
- Manage relevant partnerships and relationships, internally and externally, to ensure compliance, consistency and excellence across the charity content
- Create and deliver effective, engaging training for relevant departments and team members
About You
To flourish as Content Manager, you will need:
- Excellent and in-depth knowledge of content strategy and production for online and offline channels.
- A proven track record in proofing and editing copy and digital content.
- Excellent copywriting and content production skills.
- Strong leadership and line management abilities.
- The ability to understand how to ensure a relevant content strategy for our audience.
- Excellent IT and communication skills.
- Good project management skills.
- Core office/administrative skills.
- A proactive and can-do attitude.
- A relevant qualification.
