About the role of Care Assistant:

As a Care Assistant, you will support our residents with their day to day lives, from personal care and domestic duties to supporting them with activities and providing emotional support. You will spend each day empowering the residents to live a happy, fulfilling and independent life. For example, you will encourage them to join in social activities and help them to plan their meals. You aren’t just a Care Assistant, you are a lifeline for the individuals we support.

Sherwood House is a registered care home supporting 19 adults over the age of 65 and stands proudly among an array of beautiful gardens. It is one of the top 20 care homes in the East Midlands! Just 9 miles from Nottingham city centre, the site is easily accessible by bus (no.141) and is situated just off the main high street in Linby. As a care assistant, you will work with a variety of friendly and professional individuals whilst supporting the fabulous residents. We are looking for 3 determined and dedicated care assistants to join the team and make a difference.

“Our goal at Sherwood House is to help the residents to achieve their goals, wishes and aspirations” – Current Manager at Sherwood House.
