We have a great opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Supporter Development Manager to join the team.

Position: Supporter Development Manager

Location: This post is offered with home working with regular (weekly) visits to the main site at Sidmouth, Devon

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours

Salary: £37,000

Contract: Permanent

The Role

The Supporter Development Manager will manage a team of fundraisers to develop a donor-centric programme of activity across all individual giving fundraising products, with an eye on how to develop them for philanthropy and legacy giving. This coupled with an understanding of data insights will ensure you develop a fast-moving, agile supporter development programme that enhances the experience of supporting the charity for all donors, building income from existing audiences and responds to their needs.

Responsibilities will include

 

  • Managing, training and coaching the team to effectively ensure growth for the direct debit supporter base, whilst overseeing the Adoptions and Lottery programme including donor stewardship and programme management.
  • Strategic planning activity every year, addressing any shortfalls in delivery and regularly reviewing the product mix to hit target and provide quarterly reforecasts for each channel and product.

 

About You

Your strong interpersonal skills will provide a firm foundation for liaising with key fundraising personnel across the individual giving team as well as the wider fundraising team and supporting functions.

You will have excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and manage a variety of simultaneous projects to tight deadlines, as this is essential for this role as are great communication and relationship building skills.
