As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life. Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering and using the bathroom. Supporting people to live independently – budget management, paying bills, house work, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals. Excellent communication skills/relationship building – supporting the person to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships. Community & Social Inclusion- Supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and Social events to promote life skills and individuality. Our person centred, professional team in Trowbridgs, are looking for responsible and motivated Relief Support Workers to join them to support Adults with a learning disability to work on an ad-hoc basis. Shifts are rota based and will be spread across morning, afternoons and evenings, sleep-ins and waking nights shifts will also be available. Flexibility is essential as all our shifts will be spread across the weekdays and weekends, however as a Relief Support Worker you are able to choose the shifts that work for you.  Being a support worker isn’t just about making the day to day life easier, it’s about improving the lives of these lovely individuals, so they can live the life that they choose and certainly deserve.
