We are currently looking for an energetic and friendly individual to join our ever-expanding team as a Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant based in our Newcastle location. The central Newcastle office, based in the city centre, is one of our busiest locations and has seen huge growth over the last 12 months. We are looking for a trainee recruitment consultant to join the team to help support and maintain existing business, while also growing and developing the business into new areas. The Tyne Tees Primary team cover schools in across a wide geographical area, so the ability to drive and have access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.   Our Newcastle team is made up of diverse, dynamic, and social individuals with varying experience and backgrounds. They always maintain a positive working environment and have a good reputation amongst clients and candidates for delivering excellent customer service while also maintaining very positive professional relationships.   This is a full time, permanent position starting as soon as possible. Our current working arrangement (post lockdown) consists of a part time home/office-based structure. Full IT equipment will be provided for home working.   Main Duties and Responsibilities  As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant at Teaching Personnel, you are the vital link between our client schools and candidates. You will join a thriving team covering a specialist Primary sector and will be responsible for building your candidate pool and school base across a local area.  You will:  Make a high volume of sales and business development calls to schools across your local area  Build and develop your own candidate database by sourcing and recruiting quality teachers and support staff and matching them to temporary and permanent job placements  Have regular face-to-face client visits (via video conferencing due to COVID-19) to build relationships with key decision makers in schools   Work to KPIs and targets in line with your branch and career ladder  Contribute to the wider team and help support group performance   About Us  We have provided a first-rate service to over 5,000 schools throughout the UK since 1996. We review performance regularly and you may qualify for promotions up to four times per year.  About You  You will be educated to degree level and have a passion for education. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills and an outgoing personality.
