SEN Subject Tutors required for Geography, Physics, Chemistry and French in the Southend area
About the School and the Job:
Prospero Teaching are looking for qualified and/or experienced Tutors to work on a part time basis in the Southend Area.
We are looking for tutors to work on a 1:1 basis with GCSE students who are currently learning in a secure SEN environment.
This is a part time role where the successful candidate will be required to work with the student on a weekly basis (hours to be confirmed - partly based on the successful tutor's availability)
We are currently looking for Tutors to cover the following subjects:
Geography GCSE
Geography A Level
Physics GCSE
Chemistry GCSE
French GCSE
The position is to start ASAP.
Contract Details:
Location - Southend
Position - Part Time 1:1 Tutor
Type of work - Tutoring students in a secure SEN environment.
Start date - ASAP
Contract type - Temporary - likely to be long term
Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing until the student(s) can return to school.
Part time - hours to be confirmed
Minimum rate of pay - £25 per hour
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
You MUST either hold QTS or QTLS or have previous GCSE Tutoring experience.
Experience working with Students with SEMH, Autism and ADHD.
Highly motivated and focused on achieving the best for every student.
A positive attitude and desire towards working with SEN students.
The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun.
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
