The role of police constable can be demanding but it's that variety which makes it one of the most rewarding jobs around. You'll be responsible for protecting life and property as well as preventing and detecting crime and working as part of a close team.

Join our team as a police officer and become part of the policing family. You'll receive a starting salary of £26,158 (this includes a £2500 south east allowance). Your salary will increase in yearly increments up to £43,630 within seven years.
