The big question: why on earth should a Tech professional like you work for a 250-year-old Bank? Because we're on a journey. Changing the way, we operate. Learning to think agile. Giving our teams the time and freedom, they need to push boundaries. To build outstanding systems and technologies. To give our colleagues and our customers even more incredible experiences. We've got data from billions of transactions for our teams to play with. Things get built here. They get made here. They hit customers and colleagues quickly. It's a remarkable time at Lloyds Bank. We're inspiring change to be the leader in the market through digital disruption.

About our team

We're the Data Transfer and Management Services Lab building and managing the future centralised digital nervous system, using the power of our existing batch technologies centred on IBM's Infosphere DataStage stack, alongside our emerging cloud strategy and streaming analytics capability to get closer to our customers. All of this is underpinned by the excellent Data Management delivered through the latest industry tooling and strong governance practises. We're currently supporting 1'000's of processes across the Bank, acting as the Enterprise Data Integration and Management function within the Bank for Retail, Risk, Fraud, Customer insight, Commercial and Corporate. The next phase of our transformation is moving more into streaming of data and cloud technologies underpinned again through Data Management tools and techniques to meet data needs and our team will be right at the heart of that transformation.

What we'll give you in return:

We want you to experience the freedom and autonomy to realise your potential, share your ideas and make them happen and feel supported and listened to by a team that celebrates individuality and independent thought, encourages different perspectives, and embraces every background. We're always ready to improve our work environment, and we stand up for what we believe in, because we want to make a difference to the lives of our customers everywhere. The Bank is committed to building a culturally diverse workforce which emulates our customer base and therefore strongly encourages applications from underrepresented groups. In return, we provide flexibility and support to encourage applications from across the UK's diverse community.
